I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Lonny

I'm Available

Lonny is a very sweet boy with a sad story. He and his brother Quincy were adopted as kittens from Stray Cat Blues.  They had a very happy life for several years (they are now 5) and then very suddenly the woman who adopted them passed away.

When the boys realized something was different in their home, they took to hiding in the basement ceiling rafters, making it nearly impossible to find them.   Over a two-week period, Stray Cat Blues managed to trap them.  They then went into foster care to adjust to their new lives.

This change was hard for the boys because they did not understand why they had lost their home or where their human best friend had gone.  In the first few weeks in foster care, they mourned.  They hid and went for days without eating or using the litter box.    All their foster mom could do was wait and love them through it.  They slowly emerged and began to accept this new phase of their lives.  Lonny is now thriving. He has become happy and confident again.

Lonny is living at our Whiskers Way Station with his brother. He is a very laid-back boy who can stand to lose a few pounds. He has a sweet disposition and gets along with all the other cats at WWS. He has especially developed a very sweet bond with a long-haired beauty named Silver.  Silver is painfully shy with people and she has gotten great comfort being Lonny's friend. Lonny is now ready to start the next chapter of his life in a home of his own. He will need some time and patience to adjust to yet another change, but it shouldn’t take him too long. Given his personality, Lonny would want to have a friendly cat(s) as a buddy. This poor guy really needs some stability in his life again. Please consider making Lonny part of your family!   Lonny's foster mom only adopts to true nonsmokers. CT23-150LP
