Tosha was trapped along with her sister Silver at a TNR site in Sellersville. While in foster care, as they recovered from being spayed, the sisters showed some promise of being socialized. If there was a chance that these stunning long-haired beauties could become friendly to humans, we had to try to turn them into happy housecats. No one wanted to see them returned to a colony, especially in the dead of winter!
Tosha showed quite a spicy side from the start, but she was also very playful and curious. On top of that, she loves treats! This made things much easier to make a positive connection with her. She had a lot to learn about people and a life indoors, so she moved to our Whiskers Way Station where she could get the one-on-one attention she needed from our socializers. Tosha has been a great student at our “finishing school”.
This girl has a big, sassy personality! She is full of energy, very playful, and has an affectionate side too. She will need a cat savvy person or family who know how to handle her sass (so no small children please). Tosha may best be described as a torti in tabby fur. She is a petite, stunning, long haired floof who will totally entertain you and make a wonderful companion in the right environment. All you have to do is fill out an application on-line to set up a meeting with Tosha.
The sisters (Tosha & Silver) would be happy being adopted as a pair, but don't necessarily have to go to a new home together.
Tosha's estimated date of birth is 10/19/2021.
