Cupid was found with an arrow pierced through his back!

News release

Lansdale, PA — January 26, 2023 – On Tuesday, January 24th Perkiomen animal hospital got a call from a concerned neighbor that reported a cat in her back yard with an arrow piercing through his back. They contacted Stray Cat Blues to see if we could help. After seeing the pictures of this injured cat we knew we could not rest until we found him, we immediately started searching.

We spent many hours searching in the woods, handing out fliers to the neighbors and setting traps at multiple sites. This cat traveled over a mile and was finally caught last night after 8 days of searching. NO ANIMAL should ever endure suffering like this. This is animal cruelty.

This morning our little Cupid has a great prognosis, but he will need substantial medical care and your donations are what make this happen!

Thank you to Perkiomen Animal Hospital for alerting us to the situation and Quakertown veterinary hospital for taking care of him. A special thanks to Sarah that initially reported this atrocity, Cheryl and her son that helped trap, and especially Scott Rothenberger at Place design studio and all the employees there that alerted us to where he ended up. Thank you to Animal rescue league of Berks county that lent us the extra large traps to catch this boy. It took a community to help save this kitty, we are forever grateful!

The other volunteers helping were Michelle S., Patty G., Becky A., and Karen M.
